Who

Destination Janjanbureh, is a team of skilled and knowledgeable guides eager to showcase one of The Gambia's most captivating destinations.

Our Origins

Destination Janjanbureh, formally known as Janjanbureh Tour Guides formed  in June 2019 arising from the National Youth Council (NYC) organisation JUST ACT.

 Our mains aims are

  • creating employment for young people​

  • promoting and conserving our culture​

  • creating unique and impactful tourism projects

"Members of Janjanbureh Tour Guides work with young women and communities to achieve their goals under a mandate of youth leadership. The members are united in a spirit of oneness within the community of highly motivated youths. The members are conscious of the roles that youths play in service to humanity and in the area of development of our society and nation at large."
